                            SPREAD LOVE AND CARE PROGRAMME


We the first-year teacher educators of BNV College of Teacher Education got an opportunity to visit an old age home for our community-based activity which comes under our B. Ed curriculum. The main objective of our community-based programme is to sensitize the students to the living conditions of the people who are around us and to realise the truth of the society.

Students with respected teachers conducted a planning session for choosing the best place to visit. As a result of this, we decided to visit an old age home near to our college named ‘KRIPATHEERAM’ situated 6.5 km far from our college. Kripatheeram (a home for homeless) is a charity organization run by Holy Family Congregation established on January 18th, 2012. At present 32 residents are living in this home and the caretakers are providing free service for taking care of them. The community-based programme ‘SPREAD LOVE AND CARE’ happened on 23rd of January 2023.
